Software Engineer (Python JavaScript) WFH to £95k
Are you a Software Engineer with strong Python backend skills and a good appreciation of front end development with JavaScript / React?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a growing UK tech consultancy that specialise in GCP cloud based solutions for a variety of clients.
As a Software Engineer you'll join an Agile development team with exposure across all stages of modern SaaS and mobile applications; you'll have regular interaction with clients for planning sessions and demos and will see the results of your work in practice.
You'll be working across the full technology stack with a focus on Python backend work but with exposure across the full stack including JavaScript and you'll be able to pick up React on the job if you don't use it already.
As a senior member of the team you'll help to mentor and support more junior engineers in a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
WFH Policy:
You can work from home for most of the time, with only fortnightly visits to the office in Bracknell (or in combination with the London office) for team meet-ups and workshops.
Requirements :
You have strong Python backend development skills
You also have front end development experience with JavaScript, combined with at least one modern framework (React ideally but any fine if happy to pick up and use React going forward)
You're familiar with cloud based technologies: GCP or AWS preferred
You're a collaborative and pragmatic communicator, comfortable working with clients and interacting with teams across the business
